Thank you for Durham Mardi Gras 2017!

February 28th was another fantastic Mardi Gras night in Durham.

We pull off this free community event through the support of our venues, sponsors, and individual members of the community like you. We are thankful for all of this support, and need more of that, to continue. As a 501(c)3 organization, your donations to our future are tax deductible.

Let’s work together to keep this event free.

Being open and all inclusive is a primary mission of Durham Mardi Gras since the very beginning.  This event is free and would not be possible without the hard work by organizers, volunteers, venues, bands, and sponsors. With all of our contributions, it’s become a warm and welcoming event for any and all comers.

How can you contribute? Please consider donating to our Generosity online campaign or via Paypal. Maybe there’s something on the 2017 SignUp Genius that suits your fancy. Want to do more throughout the season?  Let us know by filling out our online volunteer form. A most heartfelt thanks to Durham and the region for allowing this event to grow every year.  2017 is going to be the best year yet!

You can read all about each of them, then, tell us who you’d like to see wearing the crown at the head of the parade in the Greenway Transit pedicab.
